Room×Lab Review · Review updated August 28, 2026

Owners of this rug praise easy washing and the palm pattern; outdoors, some report fading in sun and slow drying after rain

Room×Lab read 174 distinct written owner reviews of the Filifera Palm Green rug on Ruggable's page, covering every size and pad option sold there; reviews of other colorways or other Ruggable rugs are not included. Ruggable labels all 174 reviewers as verified owners and 7 reviews as incentivized; 148 give five stars. Owners shown below who say how long they had it describe from about a month to just under two years of use. The reviews below pair praise with complaints about weathering and setup to show both sides in detail; only 19 of 174 reviews give three stars or fewer.

Room×Lab rating: 7.4 out of 10 (medium confidence). Owners of this rug, across all sizes, rate it 4.64 stars and most often praise how easily it hoses off or machine-washes. The caveat is outdoor wear: some report fading in strong sun and slow drying after rain, while others say it held up through sustained wear and weather.

  • Care and cleaning: 50 favorable mentions; 4 concerns — Owners frequently describe machine-washing, spot-cleaning, sweeping and hosing the rug clean. The concerns include a large cover fitting too tightly in a home washer to clean evenly.
  • Outdoor durability: 17 favorable mentions; 20 concerns — Some owners describe the rug holding up through sustained wear and weather. Concerns include fading in sun, in one case within about a month; slow drying after rain; and one report of mold and mildew after just under two years.
  • Color and finish: 19 favorable mentions; 2 concerns — Owners commonly liked the green palm pattern and how it looks outdoors. Two found the finish cheaper-looking or more yellow-toned; fading over time is covered under outdoor durability.

Before buying

Owners praise how easily it washes, but check how much direct sun and rain your spot gets: some report fading in strong sun and slow drying after rain. Make sure your washer takes a large cover, and plan on two people to realign a 6-by-9-foot one.
