Cleo Trellis owners across all colors praise easy cleaning; some report fading and slow drying in shade or after rain

Room×Lab read 257 distinct written reviews from verified Ruggable owners. Ruggable shares them across all Cleo Trellis colors, so they are not specific to Black. 12 were marked incentivized, and none of the owner reviews below was. Most (249) are older reviews and 8 are recent. Some owners name another color, such as gray, and each fading or color report keeps the color the owner named. Most reviews give five stars (220). The owner reviews below cover complaints about cleaning, fading, drying and fit, plus two accounts of outdoor use.

Room×Lab rating: 7.9 out of 10 (limited confidence). Owners across all Cleo Trellis colors rate the rug highly, most often for easy cleaning and the trellis pattern. The caveat is outdoor weathering: a smaller group reported fading, slow drying after rain and growth, including owners who described gray rugs.

  • Cleaning is the standout strength: Owners frequently found routine messes easy to spot-clean or wash away, though stain removal was not guaranteed. — Across 257 reviews of all Cleo Trellis colors, owners made 88 favorable cleaning mentions; one owner with children, dogs and daycare use reported dirt and stains that stayed despite cleaning as instructed.
  • Appearance usually delights, with a color caveat: The trellis pattern earned broad praise, but fading and differences from online imagery are credible minority warnings. — Owners made 51 favorable color-and-finish mentions. Reviews are shared across Cleo Trellis colors; two owners who described gray rugs reported fading, one to a pale greenish shade after a few months outdoors, another toward pink. Check which color a report names before applying it to Black.
  • Sun and rain outcomes are inconsistent: Many owners reported successful outdoor use; a smaller group saw fading, slow drying after rain, or growth. — Owners made 26 favorable durability mentions. An owner of four rugs on a deck and around a swimming area saw fast drying and no fading in sun, but a rug shaded by a pergola dried more slowly. A gray-rug owner reported moisture after rain and growth.

Before buying

Choose it for easy spot cleaning and machine washing. Some owners across Cleo Trellis colors saw fading and slow drying after rain; if that rules it out, plan a covered spot. Check your washer's capacity and have a helper for large sizes.
