Room×Lab Review · Review updated August 28, 2026

Grayson owners praise the compact fit, heavy build and legs-only setup; a few received cracked or chipped units

Room×Lab read all 108 distinct written reviews of the Grayson Nightstand on Rove Concepts' site, posted from December 2016 through May 2026 and covering the listed walnut veneer and high-gloss white lacquer version. Every one is 4 or 5 stars (94 five-star, 14 four-star); the store shows no reviews below four stars. Rove has no product-review policy: its store policy says Rove may remove or edit site content and does not explain its "Verified" badges or moderation, so weigh the 4.8 average accordingly. Few owners describe how it holds up over years. The reviews below show the most common praise and the rarer complaints in detail.

Room×Lab rating: 8.0 out of 10 (medium confidence). Grayson owners praise the compact fit, heavy build and legs-only setup; the caveats are a few cracked or chipped arrivals, heavy drawers, a small top, and few owners describing wear over years. Rove's site shows no reviews below four stars among 108 and explains no verification or moderation.

  • Room and bed fit: 19 favorable mentions; 2 concerns — Compact proportions worked well in many bedrooms, but isolated owners found the top too small, the unit undersized beside a king bed, or the scale different from photographs.
  • Setup and substantial feel: 10 favorable assembly mentions; 7 favorable stability mentions; 3 concerns — Owners describe attaching only the optional legs to a sturdy, heavy cabinet. Among the 3 concerns, that weight made the drawers hard to open for one owner, and another found the metal legs awkward to move on carpet.
  • Delivery and arrival condition: 16 favorable delivery mentions; 6 concerns — Most delivery reports were positive. The concerns included cracks, chips, blemishes or other damage on arrival, and several of those owners said Rove replaced the piece or settled the claim.

Before buying

Ask Rove whether the 20.6-inch height includes the optional legs, and check that the compact top and heavy cabinet suit your bed and room. Unpack promptly and check the white lacquer, corners and drawers: a few owners received cracked or chipped units.
