Room×Lab Review · Review updated August 28, 2026

Owners of this Natural pillow praise its 36-inch size and look; the sewn-shut cover makes washing it the main drawback

Room×Lab read all 104 distinct written owner reviews on Target's listing for this Natural pillow, dated April 2022 through July 2026. The listing offers no other colors or sizes, so every review is about this pillow. Some owners write after longer use: six months in a home with four young children, about three years, several years, and extended ownership with steam cleaning. The reviews below show complaints about fill and washing, the longest-use accounts and typical praise.

Room×Lab rating: 8.6 out of 10 (limited confidence). Owners of this Natural pillow rate it highly and praise its scale, look and sturdy construction, including one home with four young children. The chief caveat is the sewn-shut cover: in isolated accounts, washing the whole pillow left it lumpy, dingy or with damaged tassels. Some also question its fill volume.

  • Construction generally holds up: 73 favorable mentions; 4 concerns — Owners usually describe sturdy construction, including one home with four young children over six months. Filling that collapses under pressure and detached tassels are credible but isolated exceptions.
  • The oversized format suits larger beds: 33 favorable mentions; 1 concern — Owners commonly call the 36-inch length an advantage on queen, king and California-king beds. Expectations of the size differ, so measure your bed or sofa first.
  • The fixed cover complicates cleaning: 4 favorable cleaning mentions; 3 concerns — Spot or steam cleaning worked for some owners. Owners who washed the whole pillow report slow drying, lumpiness, light fabric turning dingy and broken tassels. One review can count toward both totals.

Before buying

Owners praise the 36-inch length on larger beds, so measure your bed or sofa. Plan to spot or steam clean it: the cover is sewn shut, and owners who washed the whole pillow found it lumpy, dingy or with broken tassels.
