Room×Lab Review · Review updated August 28, 2026

Across all Sarrah colors, owners praise easy cleaning and the muted palette; some found the rug whiter than pictured or frayed early

Room×Lab read 6,924 distinct owner reviews posted on Ruggable for the whole Sarrah collection, not only Sage. They cover the Sage, Coral, Hazel and Blue Quartz colors and both constructions: the one-piece Tufted All-in-One shown here and the Flatwoven Two-Piece cover-and-pad system. 515 reviews are recent and 6,409 are older. Pad, assembly, thickness and washing comments may apply to only one system; this review says which. One review below states how long it was used: two months. We picked one review at each star rating plus a second five-star one, so complaints appear more often below than overall, where 5,862 of the 6,924 give five stars.

Room×Lab rating: 8.4 out of 10 (medium confidence). Across all Sarrah colors and both constructions, owners rate the rugs 4.74 stars and most often praise easy cleaning and the muted look. Holding the score back: reports of early fraying, snags and loose threads, and mixed experiences with support, return fees and deductions.

  • Cleaning is the clearest owner strength: 2,261 favorable mentions; 178 concerns — Across all Sarrah colors and both constructions, owners often reported easy spot cleaning, stain removal and successful machine washing. A smaller group described disappointing wash results, curling, or trouble relaying the Flatwoven Two-Piece cover after washing.
  • The palette wins praise but can look different in person: 1,420 favorable mentions; 281 concerns — Owners across the collection commonly liked the muted traditional look, but some found their rug whiter, greener, lighter or darker in person than online. One owner saw a white background where the site showed beige; another found it much whiter than expected beside warm off-white décor. Lighting, screens, colorway and construction may contribute.
  • Durability is usually praised, with some early fraying and snags: 508 favorable mentions; 94 concerns — Many owners described Sarrah rugs coming through repeated washing, pets, children and active households. The failures are individual reports: one owner's edges began fraying from ordinary vacuuming within two months, and others reported loose threads, snags and patches of fading.

Before buying

Choose the one-piece Sarrah Sage for easy washing and a muted palette if you can accept the early fraying some Sarrah owners report. Some found theirs whiter than pictured, so check the color in your room, your washer's capacity and return fees.
