Houzz owners of Blue Quartz praise its warm whites and blues; across Sarrah colors, washing wins praise, and some found colors whiter than expected or saw early wear

Room×Lab read all 6,923 distinct written reviews on the Sarrah Blue Quartz product page. That page collects reviews for Blue Quartz and the other Sarrah colors, including older two-piece rugs and newer all-in-one versions. The counts below cover the whole collection, and any finding about one color or construction names it. Every card below is from a verified owner, and only Katsiaryna S.'s review was incentivized. The cards cover complaints about color, wear, comfort and cover alignment, plus one 4-star and one 5-star account. 5,862 of the 6,924 ratings are five stars.

Room×Lab rating: 8.2 out of 10 (medium confidence). Houzz owners of Blue Quartz praised its warm whites and blues. Across Sarrah colors, owners give a 4.74 average from 6,924 ratings, and Good Housekeeping's testing named the Sarrah Flatwoven best overall. The caveats: recurring trouble realigning covers, unexpected colors, some fading and fraying, and mixed service.

  • Cleaning is the clearest owner-reported strength: 2,261 favorable mentions; 172 concerns — Across all Sarrah colors, owners report that machine washing or spot cleaning worked, including a Coral owner whose large hot-chocolate spill washed out completely. The complaints were cleaning that did not work and large covers that were cumbersome to launder and put back on the pad.
  • The design wins praise, but screen-to-room color can shift: 1,420 favorable mentions; 299 concerns — Across all Sarrah colors, owners often liked the look, but some found their rug lighter, darker, greener or much whiter than expected. One owner found the background and border much whiter than expected and then struggled to get help with a return.
  • Durability trends positive with recurring minority failures: 508 favorable mentions; 95 concerns — Across all Sarrah colors, many owners say the rug wears well, but fraying, snagging, fading and edge deterioration recur across separate accounts. For one owner, binding loops came loose within two weeks, before the first wash. Another saw fading and deterioration after seven months.

Before buying

Choose Blue Quartz for its blue-and-cream palette and washable cover if you can realign the cover on its pad after each wash. Check that your washer fits it, and judge the color in your room: some owners found it whiter than expected.
