Copper owners report wine spills and pet messes cleaning up; critics cite fraying edges, shifting, pad slope and off-photo color

Room×Lab read 4,808 distinct written reviews of Ruggable's Jonathan Adler Inkdrop range, dated August 2021 through August 2026. They cover several Inkdrop colors, Copper among them, and both the two-piece flatwoven rug and the all-in-one versions, so the counts below describe the whole range. The six owner reviews shown come from the Copper rug's page. We picked them to show each star rating from five down to one, not to show how common each view is; most reviews give five stars.

Room×Lab rating: 8.0 out of 10 (medium confidence). Copper owners describe wine spills and a severe pet mess coming clean, and cleanup praise is unusually consistent across the Inkdrop range. Across all colors and constructions, recurring fraying edges, color that differs from screens, pads that leave sloped edges and heavy handling at large sizes hold it back.

  • Cleaning is the standout strength: 1,768 favorable cleaning mentions; 183 concerns — Owners repeatedly described spills, mud and pet messes washing out. Concerns included fading, fraying, slow drying, cumbersome reinstallation and the practicality of laundering larger sizes. Counts cover owner reviews across all Inkdrop colors and constructions.
  • Color usually pleases, but screens can mislead: 619 favorable mentions; 144 concerns — Many owners liked the finish or found it richer in person, while others got browner, muddier, bluer, less crisp, or more visibly printed color than they expected from photos. Counts cover owner reviews across all Inkdrop colors and constructions.
  • Durability is favorable overall, not flawless: 264 favorable mentions; 54 concerns — Most durability mentions were favorable, but edge fraying, loose stitching, fading, blotchy color and loose threads on arrival recurred; some edge problems appeared after washes. Counts cover owner reviews across all Inkdrop colors and constructions.

Before buying

Match the pad to the cover size. Owners across Inkdrop colors found tones off from photos, so check the rust orange in your light. Confirm your washer takes the 6-by-9 cover, and watch edges in early washes, within the 30-day return window.
