Across all Celestine rugs, owners praise easy machine washing; some found colors paler than photos, and a few saw edges wear early

Room×Lab read all 2,197 distinct written reviews from verified owners of Ruggable's Celestine rugs, dated October 24, 2020 through August 24, 2026. They cover the Coral, Sapphire and Teal Blue colors in both the Flatwoven Two-Piece and Tufted All-in-One constructions, so the counts on this page span the whole collection, not this Coral Tufted rug alone. Color and cleaning comments apply across versions; match comments on pads, assembly, pile and comfort to the construction they describe. The reviews below show the most common praise, easy washing and the colors, beside specific complaints about color, edging and a missing pad; 1,806 of the 2,197 reviews give five stars.

Room×Lab rating: 8.3 out of 10 (medium confidence). Across all Celestine colors and both constructions, owners average 4.69 out of 5 and praise machine washing most. The caveats: some found the color paler than the photos, a few saw edging fray, loosen or curl early, and support accounts are mixed.

  • Cleaning is the standout strength: 774 favorable mentions; 48 concerns — Across all Celestine colors and constructions, owners repeatedly reported easy sweeping and successful machine washing after spills or pet accidents. Concerns included vacuuming difficulty, edge wear, and handling very large rugs.
  • The distressed color treatment can surprise: 476 favorable mentions; 69 concerns — Across all three Celestine colors, many owners liked the vintage, expensive-looking finish; a smaller group found the delivered rug substantially paler or more worn-looking than the online photos.
  • Durability is favorable overall, not faultless: 128 favorable mentions; 50 concerns — Owners described rugs surviving washing, pets and traffic, but isolated reports described fraying, loose binding, curling or early edge wear. One owner saw the edging loosen within two months, in a low-traffic spot and before any washing; some reports came from the Flatwoven Two-Piece construction.

Before buying

Choose the Celestine Coral for machine washing and a deliberately faded coral-and-blue look; some Celestine owners found theirs paler than the photos. Check that your washer fits the size and which construction a pad complaint describes.
