Room×Lab Review · Review updated August 29, 2026

Owners praise this cover's thick fabric and bold stripes; some find it scratchy or the color off

Room×Lab read all 115 distinct written reviews behind the 121 ratings for this cover, sold individually and as a set of two; no other Quince pillow covers are included. Quince marks every review as from a verified owner and as incentivized. Few owners describe more than a few months of use. The reviews below show the most specific complaints next to two five-star reviews echoing the most common praise; complaints are far rarer, as 108 of the 121 ratings are five stars.

Room×Lab rating: 7.8 out of 10 (medium confidence). Owners of this cover, sold singly or as a set of two, praise its thick fabric, sturdy construction and bold stripes, averaging 4.79 stars across 121 ratings. The caveats: some find the face scratchy or the color off, failures are single reports, and few owners describe more than a few months of use.

  • Substantial construction, with isolated failures: 73 favorable quality mentions; 8 concerns — Owners frequently described thick fabric and solid construction. The failures are single reports: one zipper broke within about a month and left the cover unusable, one cover snagged, and one replacement arrived heavily stained.
  • The bold look lands more consistently than the exact color: 45 favorable appearance mentions; 5 concerns — Owners often liked the pattern and neutral styling, while critical accounts described mismatched whites, a browner-than-expected rust tone, or an incorrect color shipment.
  • Insert loft matters despite generally favorable fit: 11 favorable fit mentions — Several owners reported a good fit with 20-inch inserts, but one owner's fluffy Euro insert would not fit, and other accounts suggest the insert's fill and loft change the finished shape.

Before buying

Choose it for thick fabric and bold neutral stripes if you can live with spot-clean-only care and a face some owners find scratchy. Buy the insert separately and check its fill and loft against the 20-inch cover.
