Room×Lab Review · Review updated August 28, 2026

Reviews span the whole Nomad range: owners praise supportive comfort and manageable setup, while firm seats and wear failures recur

Room×Lab read 1,389 distinct written owner reviews shown on this chair's page, dated March 2017 through August 2026. They cover the whole Nomad range, including sofas, sectionals, chairs and earlier Nomad versions, not only the Leather Club Chair. 1,020 carry a verified-owner flag and 42 an incentivized flag. The reviews below come from other Nomad listings and were picked to show the range of experiences from one to five stars; 1,245 of the 1,507 star ratings are four or five stars.

Room×Lab rating: 7.2 out of 10 (medium confidence). Ratings cover the whole Nomad range, not this chair alone. Owners often praise supportive seats and the compact modular design; recurring complaints about firm, shallow seats, wear such as fraying and flattened foam, split deliveries and slow support replies pull the score down.

  • Comfort: 560 favorable mentions; 210 concerns — Across the Nomad range, owners often call the seat supportive. The complaints are firm cushions, a shallow seat, an upright posture and a low profile. Counts describe written comments, not every star rating.
  • Assembly: 466 favorable mentions; 159 concerns — Owners across the Nomad range commonly found setup straightforward. A smaller group hit misaligned pegs, stubborn latches, missing hardware, weak instructions or a need for two people; one owner of another Nomad piece was left with a connection that would not lock. Counts describe written comments.
  • Durability: 230 favorable mentions; 94 concerns — Sturdy construction is mentioned more than twice as often as problems. Across the Nomad range, owners describe fraying, sagging, scratches, separating seams and broken components; one owner of an early Nomad reported fraying upholstery, deteriorating cushions and a broken leg after two months. These accounts are not a failure rate for this chair.

Before buying

Choose this chair for a compact, firm sit if a 22-inch seat depth and 17-inch seat height suit you; one Nomad leather owner found the leather slippery. Ask Burrow about leather care, replacement parts and return fees.
