Urba 98-inch owners, across colors, praise firm comfort and easy setup; some report cracked wood, torn cushion fabric and sliding cushions

Room×Lab read all 98 distinct written reviews behind Article's 123 ratings for the Urba 98-inch sectional, dated April 2018 to August 2026. Article shares these ratings across colors, so they include Slate Gray and Beach Sand owners; owner cards name the color where the review does. The accounts range from delivery and replacement problems to owners writing after two seasons, nearly three years and five years of use. The reviews below were picked to show the longest-use reports and the main complaints alongside the common praise, so they include more complaints than the ratings as a whole.

Room×Lab rating: 7.3 out of 10 (medium confidence). Urba 98-inch owners, across Slate Gray and Beach Sand, praise firm comfort, easy assembly and how it fits decks and compact spaces. The caveat is durability: several report cracked wood or cushion fabric that faded and tore, even with winter covering, which matters if it will stand out in the weather.

  • Firm comfort suits supportive-seat shoppers: 34 favorable mentions; 5 concerns — Comfort was the strongest recurring positive across the 98 written reviews of all colors, including owners describing long stretches of lounging. The 5 concerns describe hard seats, springy backs or rough fabric: this is a firm sectional, not a soft, sink-in one.
  • Straightforward assembly, with isolated hardware exceptions: 22 favorable mentions; 6 concerns — Owners usually found setup easy, and one confirmed the chaise can be set on either side during assembly. The 6 concerns were individual reports involving recessed inserts, an undrilled hole, damaged mounting points or missing pieces.
  • Durability depends on the component and care routine: 11 favorable mentions; 7 concerns — Many owners describe sturdy construction. The 7 concerns are individual reports: wood cracking within months or after several years, including a Slate Gray sectional's legs and base after nearly three years under winter covers, and cushion fabric tearing after protected use, including on a Beach Sand sectional after five years.

Before buying

Choose the Urba for firm, upright seating and a chaise you can set on either side at assembly. In rainy or cold climates plan indoor storage, as owners report cracked wood and torn cushion fabric even under covers, and expect to reposition sliding cushions.
