Room×Lab Review · Review updated September 1, 2026

Owners across both sizes praise softness and generous coverage, but report pilling, pet snags and shrinkage after washing

Room×Lab read 125 distinct written reviews from Target, where this blanket holds 219 ratings averaging 3.83 stars; 38 of the reviews read are recent and 87 older. They cover the listed colors and both the Full/Queen size shown here and the King, so the counts below describe the blanket across sizes and colors. Dated accounts include the first wash, summer use, and one owner's repeated laundering. The six reviews below run from one to five stars, picked to show the most common praise (softness and coverage), the most common complaint (surface wear such as picks and snags) and one shrinkage report.

Room×Lab rating: 6.3 out of 10 (limited confidence). Owners of both sizes rate the softness, breathable feel and oversized coverage highly, but recurring pilling, snagging, shedding, shrinkage and slow drying pull down durability and value. No independent reviewer has tested the blanket yet.

  • Soft, breathable comfort: 56 favorable mentions; 3 concerns — Across 125 reviews covering both sizes and the listed colors, owners most often praised the softness and breathable feel. The few concerns found it too heavy, too thin for winter warmth, or otherwise not to their taste.
  • Surface durability: 5 favorable mentions; 51 concerns — Across both sizes, recurring complaints were pilling, pulls, shedding, fraying and loose stitching. One owner without pets saw picks soon after buying; others tied snags to pet paws. Some owners reported it holding up, one through multiple washes without pulls.
  • Size and bed coverage: 15 favorable mentions; 3 concerns — Owners praised the oversized drape and side coverage, including on a King bed, but owners reported shrinkage after washing that could reduce that generous fit; one saw substantial shrinkage after the first wash.

Before buying

Choose it for softness and oversized drape if you can accept owner reports of shrinkage, slow drying, and pilling or picks, especially with pets. Read the sewn-in care label before the first wash.
