Room×Lab Review · Review updated August 28, 2026

Owners across both sizes praise the soft, oversized warmth; snags, shedding and wash damage are the recurring complaints

Room×Lab read 1,852 distinct written reviews on Target's listing for this blanket. They cover both sizes, Full/Queen and King, and all colors, so the counts below describe the whole range, not only this 90-by-92-inch Full/Queen. 130 reviews are recent and 1,722 are older. Owners write about everything from condition on arrival and the first wash to years of service. The reviews below pair the most common praise, softness and generous size, with the recurring complaints about shedding, snags and wash damage.

Room×Lab rating: 6.8 out of 10 (limited confidence). Target owners across both sizes and its colors praise its softness, warmth and generous coverage. The caveat is durability: snags from pet claws and jewelry are a recurring complaint, and wash results range from trouble-free to shedding, shrinkage, fraying or holes.

  • Soft warmth is the clearest strength: 594 favorable mentions; 55 concerns, across all sizes and colors — Owners often found it soft, cozy, and warm without feeling stifling. A smaller group described the feel as rough, scratchy, or too insubstantial.
  • Generous drape gives beds a styled look: 292 favorable size-and-fit mentions; 123 concerns, across all sizes and colors — Broad mattress coverage and an oversized layered effect appealed to many owners, though Full/Queen could feel excessive on a full bed and color matching was not always reliable.
  • The open knit needs careful handling and laundering: 279 favorable care mentions; 665 concerns, across all sizes and colors — Some owners washed it on a delicate cycle and dried it on low heat without trouble. Others saw shedding, pilling, frizzing, shrinkage or holes, one after the first wash and dry. Snags from pet claws, jewelry and fasteners are a recurring risk: one owner's 20-pound dog snagged it within days, though rapid failure was not universal.

Before buying

Choose it for soft, oversized drape if you can keep pet claws and jewelry off the open knit. Wash it on a delicate cycle and dry on low heat, because owners repeatedly report shedding, and some report shrinkage or holes after laundering.
