Room×Lab Review · Review updated August 28, 2026

Owners of this curtain and its room-darkening version praise the substantial drape and value, with color and sizing worth checking closely

Room×Lab read 228 distinct written owner reviews of this cotton-lined, light-filtering curtain and its separate room-darkening version, which Quince lists together. Quince labels every reviewer a verified owner and marks the reviews incentivized. Comments on look, color, value, sizing and service apply to both versions; comments on blocking light depend on which lining the owner bought. Only one owner review describes how the curtain holds up over time. Most ratings are five stars, so the reviews below show more complaints than is typical: one review at each rating from one to four stars, plus two detailed five-star reviews.

Room×Lab rating: 7.7 out of 10 (medium confidence). Owners of this curtain and its room-darkening version praise the substantial drape and value. Caveats: isolated complaints about chemical odor, unequal panel lengths and service, Sand looking yellow-orange indoors to one owner, and only one review that speaks to durability.

  • Substantial finish, but room lighting can shift the color: 54 favorable mentions of the look; 9 concerns — Across both versions, owners describe a polished, expensive-looking drape. One owner of this light-filtering version returned Sand panels that looked yellow-orange indoors, and others saw Sand and Cloud differently depending on light and surroundings, so judge the color in your own room.
  • Value is a standout owner strength: 51 favorable mentions of value; 8 concerns — Across both versions, owners compare the linen, construction and look favorably with more expensive curtains. The concerns: each package is one panel, many windows need two, and one owner of this version felt the photos did not make the single-panel pricing clear.
  • Standard sizing usually works; a few owners got unequal panels: 11 favorable mentions of sizing; 7 sizing concerns — Across both versions, owners mostly found the standard lengths workable. The 7 sizing concerns mix separate issues: wanting wider or in-between sizes, finding 48 inches too narrow, and panels whose measured lengths differed, about an inch apart in one room-darkening order.

Before buying

Choose this version for soft, filtered light, plan on two 48-inch panels for most windows, measure both on arrival (one room-darkening owner's differed by about an inch), and judge Sand or Cloud in your own light. Dry clean only.
