Cotton Slub Curtain

Room×Lab Review · Review updated August 28, 2026

Owners of this curtain and its Room Darkening version praise the look and value; some panels arrive off-color or uneven in length

Room×Lab read all 610 distinct written reviews Quince shows for the Cotton Slub family, which groups this light-filtering curtain with the Cotton Slub Room Darkening Curtain. The reviews run from July 2023 through August 2026, and Quince marks all 610 as verified purchases and as incentivized. Counts below cover both versions. Each card names the owner's version, and four of the six are from Room Darkening owners. We picked the reviews below to show the main complaints owners raise, from panel size and color to washing and daylight, next to two favorable accounts, so they are more critical than the ratings as a whole.

Room×Lab rating: 7.8 out of 10 (medium confidence). Owners of this curtain and its Room Darkening version praise the look, fabric and value; two hands-on reviewers found it solidly made. Caveats: panels varying in length or color, daylight getting through, isolated cleaning failures and few reports on longer wear. The 624 ratings across both versions average 4.77.

• Color and finish: 182 favorable mentions; 41 concerns — Across both versions, most comments praise the color and finish. Concerns include a cream on this curtain that looked more yellow than expected, one of three Room Darkening panels in a visibly different color, color shifts from the lining, and discoloration.
• Value: 151 favorable mentions; 7 concerns — Across both versions, owners often felt the fabric, weight or look compared well with more expensive curtains; a few disliked paying per panel.
• Size and fit: 34 favorable mentions; 34 concerns — Across both versions, fit comments split evenly. On this curtain, one owner noted slight length differences between panels; one Room Darkening owner's three panels measured narrower than listed; other reports describe wrong sizes shipped.

Before buying

Order two panels per window, and compare their length, color and lining when they arrive, before hanging or cleaning them (Quince says dry clean only). The cotton lining gives medium opacity; even the Room Darkening version will not fully block light.
