Room×Lab Review · Review updated August 28, 2026

Owners praise this throw's softness; five found 50 × 70 inches too small for a couch, full-body cover or a large bed

Room×Lab read 162 distinct written owner reviews of this 50 × 70-inch throw on Quince's listing, with all its colors grouped together; one rating left without text is not included, and no other Quince throw is. Quince labels every written review as coming from a verified owner and as incentivized. Few owners describe use beyond a few months; the reviews below include one owner after a week of daily use and one after several months. Nearly all reviews are five stars, so the reviews below show four of the rare critical ones, each describing a different problem, and two praise reviews describing the most common experience: softness.

Room×Lab rating: 8.0 out of 10 (limited confidence). Owners of this throw, in all its colors, consistently praise its softness, coziness and looks; 152 of its 163 ratings are five stars. The caveats: five owners found 50 × 70 inches too small for their couch or bed, one found it thinner than expected, and few describe how it holds up beyond a few months.

  • Softness is the standout strength: 89 favorable mentions — Across the 162 written reviews of all colors, owners repeatedly describe a soft, cozy or warm feel; several 3- and 4-star reviewers with other complaints still liked the softness.
  • Coverage depends on the job: 26 favorable mentions; 5 too-small concerns — Many owners found 50 × 70 inches right for lounging, but five found it too small for their couch, for full-body coverage or for a large bed; one owner repurposed it as a pet blanket.
  • Few owners report on long-term wear: 6 favorable mentions; 3 concerns — Several owners reported good condition after months of use. On the critical side, one owner saw heavy pilling within the first week of daily use, and an owner of the white version said it shrank and exposed the oatmeal-colored layer after washing.

Before buying

Choose it for soft lounging rather than full-body or large-bed cover, and measure your couch against 50 × 70 inches. Hand-wash it cold, dry it flat and check it early: one owner saw heavy pilling within a week, and a white throw shrank in the wash.
