Decorative Knife Edge Pillows 18 x 18 (Set of 2)

Room×Lab Review · Review updated August 28, 2026

Owners of this 18-inch set praise color matching and firm support; some find them too hard, and a few report split seams

Room×Lab read all 345 distinct written Joybird reviews of the Decorative Knife Edge Pillows 18 x 18 set, posted between February 2016 and April 2026. They cover the fabrics and colors sold on this one listing, not Joybird’s 22-inch, boxed, round or leather pillows. Owners describe uses from daily lounging on a sofa to floor sitting in a busy household. The reviews below show the praise owners give most often, for color, support and shape, followed by complaints about split seams, hardness and unfinished corners.

Room×Lab rating: 8.4 out of 10 (limited confidence). Owners of this set rate it highly for color matching, firm support and holding its shape through daily use. The caveats: some find it too hard to recline against, and a few report seams separating, loose threads or corners not fully formed.

• Furniture-ready color coordination: 165 favorable mentions in owner reviews — Owners repeatedly liked how the selectable fabrics and colors matched their Joybird sofas and chairs. Fabric choice can change how soft the pillows feel, and a few owners mentioned discontinued colors or results that did not match what they expected.
• Shape retention with isolated finishing defects: 287 favorable mentions and 13 concerns in owner reviews — Owners describe the fill holding its shape under daily use and in demanding households, including one where the pillows went on the floor and into children’s forts. The isolated defects reported: loose threads, unfinished edges, corners not fully formed, and seams separating, in one case on two of four pillows. Check each cover on arrival.
• Supportive firmness that can feel too hard: 156 favorable mentions in owner reviews, alongside 22 concerns — Many owners value the firm back support, but some three-star reviewers found the pillows painful or unsuitable for reclining (one said they aggravated their back and neck) and kept them mainly as decoration.

Before buying

Choose this pair for color matched to your sofa and firm, compact support; skip it if you want a soft pillow to recline against. Confirm your fabric’s care code, and check every seam, thread and corner as soon as the set arrives.
