Room×Lab Review · Review updated August 28, 2026

Aqua owners praise the colors and solid build, but several find the wool-rich face scratchy

Room×Lab read all 96 distinct written reviews Article shows for the Stitch Pillow in Aqua, out of 161 ratings averaging 4.68 stars. The written reviews break down as 71 five-star, 18 four-star, 4 three-star, 3 two-star and no one-star. All come from the Aqua listing, so they describe this color, not other Stitch colors. They date from October 2019 to April 2026, with 7 recent and 89 older. Most describe first impressions and early use, not years of wear. The reviews below lean on the two- to four-star accounts, with one five-star review, so they read more critical than the reviews overall.

Room×Lab rating: 7.9 out of 10 (limited confidence). Aqua owners most consistently praise the colors, the woven pattern and a solid, well-made feel. The caveat is comfort: owners raised 15 comfort concerns, mostly that the wool-rich face felt scratchy, and a few found the insert too flat. Most reports describe early use, not years of wear.

• Construction earns the most consistent praise: 56 favorable mentions; 8 concerns — Owners often called the Aqua pillow substantial or well made. The concerns are isolated: pilling and shedding that needed a fabric shaver, an unsecured thread end in the decorative stitching, and an insert that never regained enough loft after vacuum packing.
• Color and woven pattern are major strengths: 30 favorable mentions; 2 concerns — Owners frequently praised the Aqua color mix and woven texture and how easily it works with different rooms and furniture; a couple preferred how it looked online.
• Firm support works better than soft lounging for some owners: 11 favorable comfort mentions; 15 concerns — Some owners liked the firm back support. Several two- to four-star reviews describe the wool-rich face as scratchy, itchy or rough, or the pillow as mainly decorative; one owner found it too firm to lie on, and a few found the insert too flat.

Before buying

Choose the Aqua Stitch as a firm accent or back pillow. If you lounge against pillows or react to wool, expect a face several owners found scratchy and check the insert loft; care is spot-clean only, and returns may carry a fee.
