NORDLI storage-bed family

Room×Lab Review · Review updated September 10, 2026

White King reviewers praise the drawers but report a part missing holes, sagging after months, and slat and drawer-front wear after years

Room×Lab read 699 distinct written reviews of the NORDLI storage bed on IKEA's site, posted from May 8, 2017 to September 2, 2026. Sixty are on the white King listing shown here; the rest come from six other NORDLI storage-bed listings. Some reviewers name a King, Queen, double or metric-size bed, others don't say which size they own; fit and assembly accounts apply only to the size each owner names. Older reviews may describe earlier construction, and most reviewers don't say how long they have had the bed. The reviews below include three owners with three to five years of use; most of the 699 ratings are four or five stars.

Room×Lab rating: 7.4 out of 10 (limited confidence). Owners on the white King listing praise sturdy support and the drawer storage. Against that: a part missing holes at assembly, one King owner's central sagging after a few months, slat joints separating after five years and drawer fronts loosening after a few years. Ratings span all NORDLI storage-bed listings.

• Storage can replace other furniture: Owners describe the drawers replacing a dresser, or a nightstand and chest — Two owners who don't name their bed size describe replacing a dresser, or the storage of a nightstand and chest. Praise for the drawer storage recurs throughout the owner reviews.
• Assembly outcomes differ on the white King listing: White King reviews range from a two-person, two-hour build to a part missing holes — Monita's King took two people about two hours; Maria reports a part missing required holes near the end of assembly despite giving five stars. Plan for two people and check every part before you start.
• Satisfaction can coexist with component wear: Owners on the white King listing report sturdy support alongside slat and drawer-front wear — On the white King listing, Sabrina reports sturdy support after three years, Scott reports slat joints separating after five, and Kristy reports drawer fronts loosening after a few years. Scott and Kristy still like the bed.

Before buying

Choose the white King NORDLI for six hidden drawers if nightstands can stay clear of the head-end drawers. One King owner reports central sagging; two others report slat joints separating and drawer fronts loosening after years. Check every part first.
