Owners call the Beau heavy and sturdy; a few report a wavy or elongated reflection or flaking finish

Room×Lab read all 320 distinct written reviews among Article's 518 Beau Floor Mirror ratings. They cover the current Walnut listing and earlier Beau listings, so the counts below describe the Beau across those listings, not the Walnut alone; five of the six reviews shown come from the Walnut listing. Owner reports span about three years of use, and 11 of the reviews are recent. The reviews below pair praise for a heavy, sturdy build with examples of the reflection, finish and delivery complaints, so they are not a vote: 300 of the 320 reviews carry four or five stars.

Room×Lab rating: 8.2 out of 10 (limited confidence). Walnut owners praise its heavy, sturdy build and full-length view, and owners across Beau listings also call it good value. The caveats: several describe wavy or elongated reflections or finish flaws such as flaking, and owner reports span about three years.

  • Substantial construction: 39 favorable mentions; 11 concerns — Owners across Beau listings, Walnut owners among them, consistently describe it as heavy, sturdy or substantial; Article still requires it to be secured to a wall.
  • Useful full-length scale: 36 favorable mentions; 3 concerns — Owners across Beau listings generally found the proportions practical for a full-length view, though some described the mirror as larger or heavier than expected.
  • Finish appeal with workmanship caveats: 40 favorable mentions; 27 concerns — Finish reactions across Beau listings were mostly favorable. The 27 concerns are finish or workmanship complaints: color mismatch, rough edges, visible glue, veneer seams, flaking or loose trim; a Walnut owner in May 2026 reported flaked areas. Check the finish closely on arrival.

Before buying

Plan to wall-secure this 41-pound mirror yourself with the included hardware, since Article's assembly service will not drill wall holes. On arrival, check the reflection for waviness or stretching and the finish for flaking, seams or rough edges.
