Kirun 47" Console

Room×Lab Review · Review updated August 28, 2026

Oak and Walnut Kirun owners praise the quick build and narrow fit; a few report wobble, misaligned joints or missing parts

Room×Lab read all 118 distinct written reviews of the Kirun console on Article, written from February 2021 through August 2026; another 66 reviews gave a rating without a comment. Article shows reviews of the Oak and Walnut versions and an earlier Kirun listing together, so these counts cover both finishes, and five of the six reviews below come from Walnut owners. We picked the most detailed praise alongside the most specific complaints, so complaints look more common below than they are: 7 of 185 ratings give one or two stars.

Room×Lab rating: 8.2 out of 10 (medium confidence). Owners of both Kirun finishes praise its looks, narrow fit and generally quick assembly. Isolated Walnut reports temper that: a top damaged by moved pots, joints that did not sit flush, a rickety feel, and a missing part with slow help. Nobody reports how it holds up over years.

• Assembly is usually straightforward: 45 praise the build; 9 raise assembly problems — Owners of both finishes often describe a short, simple build; a Walnut owner finished in about 20 minutes. Isolated problems, including missing or incorrect hardware, joints that did not meet flush and difficulty balancing the console, could stop the build, and one Walnut owner found getting a missing component frustrating and slow.
• The narrow footprint suits constrained spaces: 22 favorable mentions; 1 concern — Owners place it in entryways, behind sofas and below windows; a Walnut owner keeps plants on it between a sofa and a window. One owner raised a fit concern, so check the listed 47 × 14 × 29.5-inch measurements against your space.
• Design and perceived quality support the price: 16 favorable mentions; 5 concerns — Owners of both finishes tie the value to the console's look and build quality, while some who rated it highly still called it somewhat expensive.

Before buying

Measure the 47-by-14-inch footprint, lift things rather than slide them across the top and keep it dry; one Walnut owner's top was damaged by moved pots. Check every part and joint during assembly, while replacement help is easiest to request.
