A 2019 Classic-depth Belgian Linen owner praises comfort but finds standing harder; owners of earlier Cloud versions add flattening, repeated fluffing and difficult exits

RH's product pages carry no owner reviews, so the owner accounts here come from Houzz, Reddit, owner blogs and YouTube. They cover Cloud sectionals and modular arrangements, mostly earlier versions. The closest match to this sofa is a 2019 owner's Classic-depth chaise sectional in Belgian Linen. Another owner had a five-piece Luxe. Accounts range from the first months of ownership to seven years.

Room×Lab rating: 5.9 out of 10 (limited confidence). An owner of a 2019 Classic-depth Belgian Linen Cloud and other owners, mostly of earlier versions, praise the lounging comfort, but recurring reports of flattening, sagging and repeated fluffing weaken its premium-value case. Ask RH how the current foam-core cushions are built to hold their shape.

  • Comfort and seating fit: 21 favorable and 17 critical mentions, across Cloud versions — Owners praise the lounging comfort. Critical posts describe weak support, too much depth, a low seat that makes standing harder, and difficult exits, including from a 2017 owner who used the sofa less than daily. Most describe earlier Cloud versions, and the counts include repeat updates from the same owners.
  • Cushion upkeep: 6 favorable and 15 critical mentions, across Cloud versions — Some owners accept occasional fluffing; one does it every couple of weeks. Others report flattening and substantial, repeated fluffing, including an owner of earlier feather-fill cushions who, three months in during 2017, reported flattening after brief initial comfort. Fill options and configurations differ between owners.
  • Appearance and condition: 15 favorable and 20 critical mentions, across Cloud versions — Owners praise the linen fabric, easy cleaning and good condition after six months. Critical posts describe flattening, sagging that began after two years, and a perceived collapse at the front edge. The counts mix early impressions with later updates from the same owners.

Before buying

Sit on the Classic depth in a showroom and practise getting up: Cloud owners describe low, deep seats and difficult exits. Plan on regular fluffing and rotating, as RH's care guidance expects; some owners found it frequent and effortful.
