Lounge Seating Collection

Room×Lab Review · Review updated August 29, 2026

Two bloggers who own the 93-inch, 41-inch-deep size praise its comfort and space but report pilling fabric and regular cushion fluffing

Room×Lab read 2,946 distinct written owner reviews from Crate & Barrel's Lounge collection, dated 2014–2026. They cover sofas, loveseats, chairs, ottomans and sectionals in several widths, depths, cushion layouts and fabrics, so counts and ratings describe the whole collection, not this 93-inch sofa alone. Owners below describe anywhere from under six months to about five years of use; each card names the 93-inch sofa where the owner did. The reviews below pair cushion complaints with praise from households with children and pets; they are examples, not a vote.

Room×Lab rating: 7.4 out of 10 (high confidence). Two bloggers who own this 93-inch, 41-inch-deep sofa praise its roomy comfort and find it better for upright sitting than the Deep model. Across all Lounge pieces, owners report uneven aging: flattened cushions, escaping feathers, fabric wear and mixed help from support.

• Comfort favors sprawling over formal sitting: Roomy comfort for movies, naps, and family use leads, though some owners find it too deep for upright sitting. — Two owners of this 93-inch, 41-inch-deep size found it better for upright sitting than the Deep model, though one wanted more head and neck support. Across 2,946 written reviews of all Lounge pieces, comfort drew 1,655 favorable mentions (mentions, not owners).
• Cushion life is the central durability gamble: Many owners report years of sturdy use; others report flattened fill, escaping feathers, fabric wear, or broken parts. — Critical reports include cushions sunk within six months, feathers poking through the inserts after 18 months, and declining support after five years despite nightly fluffing; frame and suspension failures are individual reports. Reviews across all Lounge pieces also contained 543 favorable durability mentions.
• Fabric choice materially changes ownership: Owners like the look, but cleaning, pilling, snagging, wear, color, and feather containment vary by fabric. — Both bloggers who own this 93-inch size saw their fabric pill, one under a dog, so read reviews and the care code for the fabric you choose. Reviews across all Lounge pieces contained 780 favorable color-and-finish mentions.

Before buying

Pick this 41-inch depth for more upright sitting than the Deep model and plan on regular fluffing. Both blogger owners of this size saw pilling: check your fabric's care code, measure your delivery path, and ask about warranty and replacement cushions.
