Across Sitka versions, owners praise the deep, roomy seat; cleaning marks, pilling and flattening cushions are the recurring complaints

Room×Lab read all 198 distinct written reviews Article shows for the Sitka 99" Sofa – Quartz White, dated June 2016 through May 2026. Article shows the same reviews on the current listing and earlier Sitka listings, including two retired versions whose colors or fabrics it no longer names, so the counts below cover Sitka owners across versions, not Quartz White alone. Two of the reviews below come from the current Quartz White listing; the two- to four-year reports come from earlier listings. We picked reviews spanning five stars to one, including both four-year reports, to show the range of experiences, not how common each one is.

Room×Lab rating: 7.2 out of 10 (medium confidence). Sitka owners across versions average 4.31 stars and praise the deep, roomy seat, but pilling, flattening cushions and water rings after cleaning recur. Many multi-year reports come from earlier listings; on the current Quartz White listing, one owner found the cushions firm and another found cleaning left marks.

  • Comfort favors lounging: 82 favorable mentions; 29 concerns — Counts span all Sitka listings. Owners liked the deep, roomy seat; the concerns were firm cushions, the low seat height, how the seat fit their bodies, and cushions losing support with use.
  • Long-term wear is divided: 25 favorable mentions; 30 concerns — Counts span all Sitka listings. Some owners report a solid frame after years of use; the recurring concerns are pilling, cushions flattening and losing shape, and occasional center dipping, with one owner shopping for a replacement after four years.
  • Cleaning remains the clearest ownership risk: 22 favorable mentions; 29 concerns — Counts span all Sitka listings. Some owners removed difficult stains; others report water rings and spreading discoloration after cleaning, cleaning that did not work, and no replacement covers to buy.

Before buying

Choose the Sitka for deep, low lounging if a 16.5-inch seat height and 25-inch depth suit you. Before ordering, ask Article how to clean this upholstery and whether it sells replacement covers; owners report mixed cleaning results, including water rings.
