Room×Lab Review · Review updated August 28, 2026

Ceni loveseat owners, across its colors, praise its compact, supportive sit but repeatedly warn that the seat is very low

Room×Lab read all 137 distinct written reviews on Article's Ceni 61-inch loveseat page. They cover the loveseat in several upholstery colors, not only Chalk Gray, and several owners bought it together with the Ceni sofa or a chair. Few owners describe long-term use. We picked six reviews spanning one to five stars to show each main complaint beside the common praise. Complaints are rarer than this mix suggests: 147 of the 186 ratings are five stars.

Room×Lab rating: 7.6 out of 10 (medium confidence). Owners of the Ceni loveseat, across its upholstery colors, praise how it fits compact rooms and gives a firm, upright sit. The very low seat, plus mixed long-term reports on cushion and fabric wear, some from Ceni sofa owners, hold the score back.

  • Firm, low comfort profile: 65 favorable mentions; 17 concerns — Owners frequently praise the supportive, firm sit and seat depth. The 17 concerns describe either a seat that feels too hard or trouble getting up from the low seat.
  • Compact-room fit: 40 favorable mentions; 17 concerns — The 61-inch footprint repeatedly works in apartments and tight rooms. The low height remains a concern for some taller people and anyone who struggles with low seating.
  • Construction and cushion longevity: 9 favorable mentions; 10 concerns — Early impressions are mostly sturdy, but few owners describe long-term use. One owner reported arm cushions repeatedly rising out of place and a back cushion stretching and turning floppy after six months; another, who returned it, doubted the cushions would last.

Before buying

Choose the Ceni loveseat for a small room if you like a firm, upright sit; try a 16-inch-high seat first if low seating is hard for anyone at home, and ask Article about Chalk Gray swatches and replacement covers before ordering.
