Room×Lab Review · Review updated August 28, 2026

Owners praise the Braam's compact fit but find the bed very firm; Vintage White reads ivory and can show stains

Room×Lab read 92 distinct written reviews from Article's Braam 75-inch Sofa Bed listings, out of 115 ratings averaging 4.67 across all Braam colors. Remarks on design, size and comfort apply to Vintage White; remarks on color, staining and cleaning may describe another color. 38 reviews are recent and 54 older, and many were written soon after delivery, so they describe early use rather than years of sitting and conversion. The reviews below, all from Vintage White owners, show the specific complaints alongside one five-star account, so they read more critically than the ratings, 90 of 115 of which are five stars.

Room×Lab rating: 7.5 out of 10 (medium confidence). Owners praise the Braam for small offices, studios and guest rooms, rating it 4.67 across all Braam colors. The caveats: a very firm bed, shorter than a queen, that divides sleepers; Vintage White fabric that reads ivory and can show stains; and many reviews written soon after delivery, before years of use.

  • Compact-room fit is the clearest strength: 36 favorable fit mentions and 4 concerns across the 92 written reviews Room×Lab read, all Braam colors. — Owners repeatedly placed the Braam successfully in offices, studios, and guest rooms. The concerns focused on the unfolded bed being short or tight for two sleepers, not on its daytime footprint.
  • Firm support divides sleepers: 52 favorable comfort mentions and 16 concerns describing the bed as very hard, across all Braam colors. — Owners who like firm support appreciate it, and one Vintage White owner's guest slept comfortably over several nights. Others found it too hard: both guests of another Vintage White owner called the surface much too hard, and several owners needed or considered a mattress topper.
  • Light upholstery reads ivory, and stains show: 14 favorable color-and-finish mentions, with 7 concerns about the warm tone or staining. — Vintage White owners often describe the fabric as ivory, cream or beige rather than crisp white. One owner saw a single drop of water leave a conspicuous brown stain, and another found the white fabric soils quickly; both were isolated reports, but spills deserve quick attention.

Before buying

Choose the Vintage White Braam for a compact room and occasional guests if you like a firm bed, or plan on a topper. Measure for the 75-by-60.5-inch bed, which can feel short for two adults, expect ivory rather than crisp white, and deal with spills quickly.
