All-Season owners praise the fluffy loft and value; some find it too warm, and several report feathers escaping

Room×Lab read 1,857 distinct written reviews of Quince's Premium Down Duvet Insert, posted from August 2020 through August 2026. Quince shares these reviews across the Lightweight, All-Season and Ultra Warm weights in multiple sizes, so the counts and star average cover that whole range, not only the All-Season Twin. Quince marks every review as from a verified owner and incentivized. The reviews below all come from the All-Season listing; the longest stated use among them is about six months. Four of the six below are 1- or 2-star complaints, alongside one mixed and one praising review, so they read more negatively than the reviews overall.

Room×Lab rating: 7.9 out of 10 (medium confidence). All-Season owners praise the fluffy loft, warmth and value; reviews across all Premium Down weights and sizes average 4.70 stars. The caveats: some owners find All-Season too warm, and several report feathers escaping.

  • Cozy warmth is the standout, but All-Season can run hot: Strong praise; some heat concerns — Owners describe light, fluffy, comfortable warmth. One All-Season owner found it too warm for summer even under a linen cover and wished for Lightweight, and some warm sleepers found All-Season or even the lighter weights too warm in summer.
  • The price-to-comfort equation usually lands well: Usually viewed as good value — Many owners compared the cost favorably with other down inserts; one All-Season owner called it much less expensive than comparable options. Value fell for owners who found the loft disappointing, the warmth excessive, or fill escaping.
  • Fill containment is the durability caveat to watch: Generally durable; shedding reported — Most durability remarks are favorable, but several owners describe persistent feather escape: one All-Season owner saw far more loose feathers than with other down bedding after about six months, and another returned one insert only for the replacement to shed filling and feathers onto the room and clothing too.

Before buying

Pick All-Season for midweight warmth; some find it too warm, so hot sleepers may prefer Lightweight. Several owners report feathers escaping, and isolated complaints say matching-size covers ran loose, so check your cover against this 70 x 88-inch Twin.
