Room×Lab Review · Review updated August 28, 2026

Across every size, owners praise the cool, crisp feel; a minority report stiffness, early holes or loose fit

Room×Lab read all 1,651 distinct written reviews of Quince's Organic Crisp Percale Duvet Cover range on 2026-08-27, dated from 2022-10-06 through 2026-08-27. Quince marks every reviewer as a verified owner and every review as incentivized. The reviews cover every color, pattern and size, in sets with and without shams, so the counts and accounts below describe the whole range, not the Twin alone. We picked the reviews below to run from five stars to one star, so they show the range of experiences, not how often each one happens.

Room×Lab rating: 8.1 out of 10 (medium confidence). Owners across all sizes rate the cool, crisp feel and the value highly. Durability holds the score back, with some owners reporting thin fabric and early holes or tears. Fit comments span every size, so check the Twin's 68 x 86 inch cover against your insert.

  • Crisp comfort appeals to most owners discussing feel: 650 favorable mentions; 83 concerns, across all sizes and colors — Owners who wrote about feel most often praised a cool, crisp, smooth, hotel-like hand; one owner said it softened slightly after washing. Concerns were stiffness, scratchiness, warmth and noisy crinkling; one owner found the cover heavy and warm.
  • Construction usually satisfies, but early damage is a real caveat: 123 favorable mentions; 51 concerns, across all sizes and colors — Owners praised the cotton, stitching, ties and buttons. Concerns were thin fabric, button wear, and early holes or tears; one owner found a hole within days of the first wash.
  • Insert fit generally works, with some size-matching exceptions: 137 favorable mentions; 48 concerns, across all sizes — These fit comments come from every size, not just Twin. Concerns were excess fabric, short coverage, bunching and too few tie positions; a Queen owner found enough loose fabric with Quince's own Queen insert to affect comfort, while a King owner valued the extra interior ties.

Before buying

Choose it for a cool, crisp percale feel if you can accept wrinkles and some reports of thin fabric, button wear and early holes or tears. Measure your Twin insert against the 68 x 86 inch cover before you order.
