Coffee table owners like its low, sleek look; one saw water marks within weeks, another sun fading

Modloft shows one set of reviews for the whole Clifton collection. Room×Lab read 99 distinct written reviews, dated May 2020 to June 2026, covering the coffee table, sofa, lounge chair, dining chair and corner sectional; coffee table owners are named below. Every review is four or five stars and this store shows none lower; Modloft may edit, publish or remove comments at its discretion and does not say how it moderates. 96 reviewers were marked verified buyers and 15 reviews were marked incentivized. The table is sold only in Teak. Below come three coffee table owners, then other Clifton owners on weathering, delivery and three years of use.

Room×Lab rating: 7.9 out of 10 (medium confidence). Coffee table owners like its low, sleek look; one saw water marks within weeks and another says the wood fades easily in direct sun. All 99 Clifton reviews read are four or five stars, the store shows none lower, and Modloft may edit or remove comments. No independent test of this table has been published.

• Every Clifton review was four or five stars: 90 five-star and 9 four-star reviews across the collection — Even the high ratings carry cautions about the exposed teak, rope that traps debris and a long delivery wait; this store shows no review below four stars.
• Exposed teak marks and fades: 10 favorable durability mentions across the collection — Praise includes an owner whose sofa, chairs and table still looked new after three years. The cautions: a four-star table owner saw water marks after a few weeks outdoors, and a sofa owner saw exposed wood fade and mildew by the third season.
• Delivery praise, with one five-month wait: 9 favorable delivery mentions across the collection — A four-star Clifton lounge chair owner waited five months for delivery, so confirm the delivery date with Modloft before ordering.

Before buying

Choose the Clifton table for its low, broad teak top beside matching Clifton seating, and plan to sand, stain and seal the exposed wood against water marks and sun fading. Ask Modloft how the warranty treats outdoor wear and confirm the delivery date.
