The Chestnut Study

A garden-facing home office wrapped in oiled chestnut, with deep window reveals and a pale plaster ceiling. Crisp furniture silhouettes give the warm timber an urbane edge; faded indigo textiles and one oversized ink drawing bring character without crowding the room. Sideways afternoon light catches wood grain and worn weave. Books in active use and a warm pool of lamplight make this a room for sustained work and lingering after hours.
